Charity modernises with name change Mental health charity Maca
renamed itself Together: Working for Wellbeing this week to reflect
“changing times and changing demands”.
The charity felt its previous name, the Mental After Care
Association, sounded old-fashioned. It is keen to widen its
approach to promoting general well-being rather than focusing on
mental health issues.
Meanwhile, a poll published to coincide with the change reveals
that one in four workers know of a colleague whose mental
well-being and career have suffered as a result of workplace
stress.
