Mental health trusts have improved performance in the past year,
with the number of zero-star trusts down from seven to five.
Nearly 80 per cent of mental health trusts are awarded two stars or
above in the latest NHS star ratings, up from 64 per cent last
year, but only a quarter achieved the top three-star rating.
Charity Mind said the five mental health trusts achieving no stars
should be given the support and resources to improve quickly.
It said assessment standards were changed each year, making it
difficult to judge performance.
