STAR RATING: 5/5

Efforts to reintegrate the drug-dependent client into mainstream
society involves quality joined-up work. There are some fine
examples of this included in this useful book, writes
Sue Rana
.

With so much money being ploughed into this area by the government
recently, this book gives useful lessons in what is useful and what
does not work when setting up programmes to help people enter into
education and work.

Comments by clients on what they found useful give the professional
a clear insight into what the client wants and needs. Although this
book is an invaluable piece of research it could also easily be
used by drug agencies to develop their own programmes and implement
the positive attributes of this innovative project.

I would recommend this accessible book to any drug service that is
developing its programme to encompass the needs of this client
group.
