Thai: it’s aromatic, tasteful and colourful.

Half would go to research and cancer charities, some to secure my children’s financial future and with the rest I would travel the world.

What is your greatest achievement?
Bringing to the attention of the health authorities the need for information and support for the Turkish community.

When were you last angry?
Yesterday with my husband, who was being bloody-minded and stubborn.

When did you last cry?
Last week as a close friend is back in hospital having more treatment.

How would you like to be remembered?
For helping others in the Turkish community.
