Survey of home care users aged 65 and over finds they feel more in control

Almost half of all older people receiving home care services say the report they receive helps them feel in control of their lives, according to a survey published by the Information Centre for health and social care.

Of the 84,000 home care users surveyed, 46 per cent said receiving services helped them feel more in control of their lives.

Over a third said they always kept informed by their home care service provider, while 10 per cent felt they were never kept informed.
