Senior managers across children’s and adults’ services are being invited to take part in a leadership programme run by the Social Care Institute for Excellence.
The social care leadership development programme is open to people from the public, voluntary, private and user-led sectors and includes three modules: leadership for outcomes, personal and organisational leadership, and community leadership.
There will be three intakes to the programme, in April 2007, September 2007 and January 2008, and it has optional postgraduate accreditation.
Students from user-led and community groups will have their costs met, while other organisations must pay around £1500.
