HIV and Aids services must be national priority, say charities

People living with HIV are being failed by “chaotic and fragmented” services a report, The Growing Challenge, out today says.

The Aids Funder’s Forum, a group of charitable funders, accuses commissioners of neglecting HIV services and calls for them to be made a national priority.

The report blames “complacency” among providers and commissioners for a lack of services for some of the most vulnerable people with HIV including asylum seekers and children.
