Social worker who did not declare criminal convictions faces conduct hearing

A registered social worker from Barrow-in-Furness who allegedly failed to declare previous criminal convictions and a police caution when registering with the General Social Care Council will face a conduct hearing next week.

The GSCC conduct hearing is due to take place on 25 and 26 April in London.

In a separate conduct hearing this week a social worker who allegedly formed inappropriate relationships with service users will find out if he is guilty of misconduct.
