Risk assessment and domestic violence: the multi-agency Marac model of intervention

* How can we engage with health colleaques more effectively to encourage early disclosure of abuse by victims? At present many health colleaques do not feel empowered to manage this type of disclosure despite having a ‘gut feeling’ that domestic abuse is the root of the presenting problem.
 
* How do we work in a multi-agency way to overcome the false barriers agencies have across the public protection agenda? The agenda encompasses child protection, domestic violence, sexual violence, vulnerable adults through to homicide. As professionals we know the links between these defined work areas, but what are the creative solutions to these barriers?
