Fresh new look and approach for Community Care

Your Community Care this week will have a fresh new look and approach. The magazine will continue to deliver all the news, analysis and opinion you’ve come to expect but we’ll be offering you much more.

There will be more practical and problem-solving articles than ever before, and material relevant to your job will be easier to find and attractively presented – children’s and adults’ services now have their own dedicated sections. We are also launching new pages offering you tips to help you further your career and make the most of your time off.

In the first of our new-look magazines this Thursday, read how one in four social workers are thinking of leaving the profession. Social workers say the main thing that would make them stay is less paperwork and more client contact. We report on councils who have managed to get the paperwork/people balance right.

Later this week our website will change its main colour, from brown to blue, to complement our new look magazine.

We hope you like our revamped publication.
