The Youth Justice Board has appointed Rosanna O’Connor as a member with immediate effect. She has been director of regional management at the National Treatment Agency for the last four years and is experienced in partnership working and commissioning.

Paul Sabapathy has been elected vice-chair of the NHS Confederation’s Primary Care Trust Network. He is currently chair of Birmingham East and North PCT. The PCT Network has also appointed Lise Llewellyn, who is chief executive of Berkshire East PCT, as its chair. They will both serve for two years.

Housing association Housing 21 has appointed two new directors to complete its senior management team. Les Clarke has joined as director of older people’s services from home care provider Sevacare where he was director of operations. After training as a nurse, he worked in the health service and has also spent four years working as a consultant for councils and health trusts. Paul Richards has been appointed director of contracts and performance. He joins from Homeserve, the domestic insurance and repair provider, and is a chartered engineer.

Vanessa Griffiths has joined Terrence Higgins Trust as clinical director. She is responsible for the delivery of clinical services and the governance of standards and will also be involved with the professional development – including skills, education and knowledge – of staff who deliver the HIV charity’s clinical services.
