Julie Murray has been appointed director of East Renfrewshire Community Health and Care Partnership, which is a partnership between council and NHS Greater Glasgow employing more than 1000 social work and primary health care staff. Murray is currently head of planning and health improvement at CHCP, and formerly worked with Mencap in London for five years.

The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) has appointed Richard Capie as its new director of policy and practice. Capie joins CIH from the Housing Corporation, where he currently holds the position of head of policy. He succeeds Sarah Webb, who will become CIH’s chief executive designate in November.
