More than 30 social care and training providers have been shortlisted for the national Skills for Care Accolades.
The awards recognise best practice and improvements in training standards in categories including best employer, best training provider, best service user involvement and most innovative model of practice learning for social work students.
Winners from the 36-strong shortlist will be announced in a presentation event in London on October 25.
Skills for Care, the workforce development body for adult social care in England, is also consulting on its Sector Skills Agreement mapping out the skills and qualifications needed in the sector for the next 10 years.
