A couple arrested in connection with five deaths at a Somerset care home near Glastonbury, have been released on bail as police continue their enquiries.
The 45-year-old woman and 48-year-old man were arrested on Monday on suspicion of the murder of four women and one man, theft and unlawful possession of controlled and prescribed controlled drugs and perverting the course of justice. The investigation centres on the former Parkfields Residential Care Home in Butleigh.
Avon and Somerset Police released the woman, care home manager Rachel Baker, on Wednesday evening. Her husband, chef Leigh Baker, was released yesterday.
