The General Social Care Council has cautioned a social worker for administrative failings but a conduct committee found poor supervision and high caseloads had exacerbated her problems.
A two-year admonishment has been placed on Jacqueline Mullins’ record on the GSCC register for failing to store and maintain records containing sensitive information.
The committee found she failed to complete case notes, documents were not on file and her file management was disorganised and out of date, while working for Rotherham Council.
However, it found “a combination of high workload and poor supervision had exacerbated Mullins’ existing administrative shortcomings”, trapping her “in a cycle of disorganisation”.
