A General Social Care Council conduct committee has removed a social worker from the social care register for repeatedly behaving dishonestly.
Robert Evison was struck off after the committee heard he had failed to disclose to a recruitment agency that he had twice been suspended by Essex Council.
He had also failed to disclose the content of a criminal records bureau check to Lancashire Council, despite the CRB disclosure having led to him being sacked from his previous role.
Evison had used a different surname before becoming a social worker but failed to inform recruitment agencies and social services departments when asked as part of police checks.
