As I attended training many years ago when solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) approaches were in their infancy in social care, I was pleased to be able to refresh my knowledge and gain fresh insight into the theories and methods of this approach with such an informative book.

Each section is clearly headed and contains the information you need within the sub-chapters. The book takes you step-by-step into solutions-focused approaches with advice, guidance and case studies so that the whole process makes sense. The language used is reader-friendly and the practice examples show how different scenarios can be managed and various options/suggestions are given on the ways each can be approached.
