Fair adult care for all

This week Community Care launches its contribution to what should be one of the most important national debates the country has seen – the future of adult social care.

Already we have seen from the DH’s engagement process that the public wants an end to the postcode lottery of council determined care.

But in order to shape better services we must discuss more than funding. We need a route and branch reform that reflects how care is delivered across all types of communities and families. This is a debate that affects us all, which is why Community Care will be covering this issue every week in print and online.
