Tender Notice

Coventry City Council wishes to invite tenders for the provision of a PersonalAdvisor Service for young people aged 16–24 under the Children (Leaving Care)Act 2000.

Coventry City Council is committed to improving outcomes for young people,and this service is a key aspect of its approach to improving outcomes foryoung people leaving care in their transition to independence.

The service requires Personal Advisors to maintain regular direct contact inaccordance with each young person’s Pathway Plan, with the aim of providingpersonal support, information and advice in particular areas such as finance,accommodation, education, training and employment.

The contractor will need to demonstrate they have the required experience andcan deliver a high quality service with positive outcomes for young people.

It is the Council’s intention to award a 2 year contract (with the option to extendannually for a further 2 years) commencing from 1st April 2009.
