A 21-year-old woman has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act after a baby and toddler were found dead yesterday at their home in Cheetham Hill, north Manchester.
Greater Manchester Police said the woman was arrested after police discovered the bodies of two-year-old Romario Mullings-Sewell and his brother, Delayno, who was three months old.
Officers had been called to the house following concerns about the boys’ welfare.
A statement from the boys’ family said: “We, as a family, are struggling to come to terms with the tragic events of yesterday afternoon and we cannot even begin to understand what happened.”
