New launch: Dad’s Space 1-2-1

NEW LAUNCH

Dad’s Space 1-2-1

Developed jointly by charity Respect and Atticmedia, Dads’ Space 1-2-1 is a virtual child contact centre that provides a web-based communication service for fathers who are separated from their children, writes Derren Hayes.

Funded by the Department for Children, Schools and Families under the Parent Know How initiative, the service can only be accessed through referrals from professionals and agencies working with children and families. Its creators say the service has the potential to enable children to stay in touch with their estranged parent.
