Stockport Family Intervention Project – Invitation to submit an expression of interest

Stockport Supporting People and Stockport Children’s & Young People’s Directorate wish to invite expressions of interest in a Family Intervention Project.

The purpose of the Project is to provide intensive floating support to families in their own homes. The contract will initially be for two years with an option to renew for up to two years, building on work already undertaken on a pilot basis.

The first stage of the tendering process will be an informal information briefing which will take place on 5 March 2009 from 10 am to 12 noon at Stockport Town Hall. The briefing will give interested parties the opportunity to find out more about the application process and the service to be provided. Pre-Qualification questionnaires will be distributed at the end of the briefing or sent immediately afterwards to those interested but unable to attend. When completed, these must be submitted in accordance with the instructions contained within them by 1 April 2009.

Organisations who are interested in tendering for the above contract should register their interest in writing by 12 noon on 26 February 2009 to FIP, Contractsand Consultation Service, Heaton Moor Centre, Thornfield Road, Stockport SK4 3LD, or by e-mail to cpsu@stockport.gov.uk, with the letters FIP in the subject bar.
