Expressions of interest are sought for the supply of: Independent Living Support Service (ILSS)

NHS Peterborough is seeking interest from organisations to set up and manage a market place of providers, to supply domiciliary care, housing related support and/or low level health. It is expected that any bidders will be independent of the service providers. The requirements of this service areidentified within the Output Specification which can be sent to you following receipt of your expression of interest.

The development of an ILSS Hub is seen as central to the success of ensuring contestability within the Self Directed Support programme. An independent organisation, providing advice and guidance to service users, carers, or their representatives will promote the development of the service user driven market, and allow real choice in service provision.

Events and meetings for potential bidders are being organised during March 2009. It is the intention to issue Tender Invitations during late spring or early summer so that the appointed provider can start arranging service delivery from late summer, ready to commence appropriate publicity and service commencement for autumn 2009. Please note that these are our best estimates at the present time.
