3 x Practitioner Managers: Safeguarding Adults Unit (Operations)

PO5: £39,987 rising in annual increment to £42,603 pa incl. LW (pay award pending)

The Lambeth Safeguarding Adults Unit is responsible for setting the standards across the Council and Safeguarding Board for assessing and reducing the risk towards adults in need of protection.

As a key member of this newly constituted team, you will not be required to undertake any case holding, instead you will play a frontline role in advocating and advising on the protection of vulnerable adults within Lambeth. You will be involved in overseeing and monitoring activity undertaken by key staff from a range of statutory and voluntary agencies across the borough.

You will also play a significant part in supporting the implementation of monitoring policy and practice on a multi-agency basis, including the application of the Government driven ‘No Secrets’ policy.

With a social care qualification, supported by substantial experience gained at a senior level, you will be both capable and confident of managing others, whilst playing an active part in a team. This will be combined with a natural drive and passion to truly protect and improve the lives of adults at risk.

All successful applicants will require Enhanced CRB clearance.
