Tender for the provision of a specialist women’s well-being service

Wolverhampton City Council invites expressions of interest from organisations wishing to tender for the provision of a specialist women’s service who have experienced mental ill-health, to enable them to maintain good mental health.

The organisations who successfully tender following a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire will be able to demonstrate:

  • recovery, choice and independence for service users
  • promotion of good mental health to minimise the re-occurrence of mental ill health
  • deliver services within a whole system approach
  • clear service outcomes
  • track record of delivering a high quality service to women with mental ill health for a minimum of three years
  • commitment to staff training and development.

    The contract period will be for three years from 01 February 2010 (with an option to extend for up to two years).

    The pre-qualification questionnaire may be requested and completed electronically but a printed hard copy must be returned to by close of business on.

    Organisations that are successful at this first stage will be invited to tender for the contract and attend a pre-tender briefing meeting in August 2009.
