    Man in Khyra Ishaq trial admits child cruelty

    A man accused of starving his partner’s daughter to death pleaded guilty to five counts of child cruelty today. Junaid Abuhamza, 30, who denies the murder of seven-year-old Khyra Ishaq, admitted cruelty charges relating to five other children during the hearing at Birmingham crown court.

    Disabled lad killed by yobs

    A DISABLED lad fled a rough area with his family for a better life – only to die after he was attacked by thugs.

    Autistic David Cox, 18, who had a mental age of eight, was punched to the ground in front of his sister Carrie-Anne, 17, and her boyfriend, 19.

    He was left brain dead and doctors advised the family to switch off his life support on Tuesday.
