As part of our implementation of the Aiming High for Disabled Children programme and the development of increased short break services, the Council would welcome expressions of interest from providers who can offer a track record of providing a coordinated out of school activities service for disabled children (or a very similar service), which includes severely disabled children and in particular children from national priority groups.
The chosen provider must be able to demonstrate a wide range of skills, knowledge and experience.

The deadline for receipt of the Pre-Qualification Questionnaires is midday on 14th September 2009
The contract will be for a period of three years with an option for a further three years subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funding.
Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE) may apply to this contract.
It is a requirement for this contract that the successful organisation must be registered as compliant with the Contractors Health & Safety (CHAS) Assessment scheme or an equivalent. The Pre-Qualification Questionnaire will require confirmation that the successful Provider will obtain CHAS registration for the commencement of the contract (November 2009).
