Care worker denies sexually assaulting child

A care worker has appeared in court accused of sexually assaulting a child and making and distributing child pornography.

A care worker has appeared in court accused of sexually assaulting a child and making and distributing child pornography.

Tracy Dawber, 44, of Southport, Merseyside, faces four counts of possessing indecent images of children and five of permitting indecent images of children to be taken.

It is also alleged that she sexually assaulted a child under 13 and facilitated the sexual assault of a child under 13.

The former Sefton Council employee allegedly abused a five-month-old baby and allowed her boyfriend to take photographs on his mobile phone. Dawber denies the charges.

The trial at Bristol Crown Court continues.
