Hilton Dawson is no longer chief executive of the British Association of Social Workers (BASW), Community Care can reveal.
BASW’s policy development manager, Bridget Robb, has been appointed acting chief executive in Dawson’s absence.
The association has not released any further details of the circumstances under which Dawson left.
