We will also publish all the reaction to the statement on the Community Care website this afternoon, before analysing its impact on social care in more detail on Thursday.
The chancellor is due to make his statement to Parliament at approximately 12.30pm, following Prime Minister’s Question Time.
The government has already announced that NHS spending will rise by £8bn above inflation by 2020-21, but it did not say whether any of this extra funding would go to adult social care.
