Community Care’s inspiring images of social care calendar is now available to all readers for free.
The calendar features 12 winning images from Community Care’s third social care photography competition, sponsored by Caritas recruitment.
The competition is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of professionals and service users and is judged by a panel which included principal social workers, directors of social services and charity leaders.
This year’s winner features a weekly transgenerational session at Cranlea Care Home in Newcastle. It was submitted by the older people’s charity, Equal Arts because it showed “irrelevant of age, those involved are captivated by the same thing”.
Other winning images depict a disabled father spending quality time with his children, the special bond between carers and service users and a foster child’s artwork.
