YOTs to run parenting programmes on anti-social behaviour

Youth Offending teams are to receive extra money  to develop
parenting programmes, the government said last week.

£1.5 million from the anti-social behaviour action plan
will be spent on one-off programmes for parents of children
displaying or at risk of displaying antisocial behaviour.

The announcement was made by Home Office minister Hazel Blears
at the Youth Justice Board’s annual convention in London.
