Wales confident at draft bill changes

The minister for health and social services in the Welsh assembly
says the country will be able to cope with the proposals in the
draft Mental Health Bill.

Jane Hutt rejected concerns that they would be “unworkable” because
Welsh mental health services were not equipped to deliver.

She also told the parliamentary committee scrutinising the bill,
that she was “confident” that the Welsh assembly was “on line” to
deliver the National Service Framework.
