Association of Directors of Social Services honorary secretary Liz Railton is to lead a new national support programme for children’s centres, it was announced today.
The current Essex Council director of children’s services will become programme director of the scheme, run by the Together for Children partnership, in January.
Together for Children is a coalition of organisations, including charities ContinYou and 4 Children, designed to improve children’s services.
