Invitation to Tender for approved providers of outcome based homecare services

The London Borough of Waltham Forest and Waltham Forest PCT are seeking suitably experienced organisations (registered with CQC for a minimum of two years) to tender to join an Approved List of Homecare Service Providers. The rate will be set between £12.65 and £12.90 per hour (consolidated rate) for generic provision and a separate rate is to be determined for specialist provision.

Services will be tailored to meeting an individual’s person-centred plan and needs with outcomes leading to service users being empowered and able to develop the skills to live independently, with appropriate support, in the community. Providers will be supporting the personalisation programme within Waltham Forest and this will include self-directed support and individual budgets as well as council commissioned packages of care. The council is seeking providers who can provide a flexible and responsive service to all client groups including users with Dementia, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs. For specialist services, providers must be able evidence they can meet the enhanced staff training and specification.

Tender evaluation criteria will be stated in the tender documentation.
