Call to the neighbourhood

Half of the respondents to Community Care’s online poll would be
interested in applying for a job in a new agency working in
neighbourhood renewal. Opinions were evenly split with 49 per cent
of people saying they would be interested in contributing to
regeneration efforts in deprived areas.

This week’s question asks: Would you welcome a pilot care trust
in your area? The Department of Health has invited expressions of
interest in becoming a care trust pilot, although only a handful of
local authorities have so far come forward.
