Cycle of teenage birth

Daughters of teenage mothers are more than twice as likely to
become teenage mothers themselves than are the daughters of
non-teenage mothers.

A study by the Office of National Statistics found that English
and Welsh girls were more than three times more likely to become
teenage mothers than French girls. Up to one in three teenage
births are to the daughters of teenage mothers. www.ons.gov.uk
