Glasgow to create a seamless service

Adult mental health services in Glasgow are set to be integrated
into a single service.

The proposals from Greater Glasgow Primary Care NHS Trust, Glasgow
NHS Board and Glasgow Council are expected to be formally approved
later this month. They will see health and social care staff
working together in joint teams to provide a “seamless service” for
adult mental health services.

The plans build on Glasgow’s modernising mental health strategy,
which will see £87m invested in improvements to services.
