Majority say degree will split workforce

Fifty-seven per cent of voters in Community Care‘s website
poll thought the new social work degree would create a two-tier
workforce.

With the announcement that the government has no plans to publish a
white paper on proposals set out in the children’s green paper,
this week’s question asks: “Is it acceptable to cut short
the consultation on the children’s green paper by going straight
through to the bill stage?”
