organisation effectively.
As part of this year’s Care in the Capital week,
Community Care is running a master class focusing on the
importance of promoting a positive image of the social care
profession, to help redress the associated negativity. The session
will be run by
communications professionals and will also feature a social care
best practice workshop.
Agenda
- Presentations by communications professionals from top London
advertising agency Leo Burnett and leading PR
agency, Munro & Forster Communications, both specialists in
public sector recruitment campaigns, who will provide
practical advice on creating a more positive profile for the
profession through tailored communication activity - A social care workshop highlighting the need to support front
line staff. This session, run by Addie Stevenson, Project Manager
for the Managing Frontline Staff Project in Scotland, will suggest
theoretical and practice models to integrate H.R. Management and
Operational Management, and will discuss the projects work in
detail. - Both the morning and afternoon session will follow the same
format

There will be a limited capacity of 30 people at each forum, to
ensure maximum benefit on both practical and theoretical
