I was interested to read your article on breastfeeding. My experience of the breastfeeding information available to mothers has been that it is off-putting, confusing and lacking in any explicit pictorial sequence. The solution to this could be the pictorial breastfeeding pack, CD and accompanying guide produced by Family Care and Unicef earlier this year.
It would be particularly helpful to professionals as a teaching aid for parents with learning difficulties and where there are communication barriers. Let’s tell each other what really helps and get breastfeeding into the mouths of babies.
