* How effective is preventive work? When resources are limited, should we be earmarking funding specifically for low-key practical support and preventive support services?
* Should local authorities have a larger role in identifying needs and gaps and co-ordinating links between preventive services and community care services, alongside their other responsibilities? Do you see Supporting People as being an effective vehicle for this ambition?
* What communication channels are there between frontline caseworkers and commissioning bodies to contribute to overall service mapping and planning in your area? How well do they seem to work?
