All those wonderful women who care and support their profoundly disabled children.
 
What is your favourite place in the world? 
Venice

If you were on death row what would your last meal be? 
Smoked salmon, lamb with new potatoes, fresh raspberries and ice cream.
 
Which celebrity would you want to play the role of you in a film about your life? 
Judi Dench, I saw her 40 years ago play Joan of Arc, she was magnificent and still is.

What was the last CD you bought? 
Can’t remember. Rob, my husband, buys at least two each week.

What is your favourite film of all time? 
Life is Beautiful

What is the best present you have ever been given? 
People are so generous – tickets for La Traviata at the Metropolitan, New York

If you could do any job in the world, what would it be? 
Chief Executive of Mencap – it’s my dream job.
