Market Consultation Services for Older People with Dementia in Sutton

The London Borough of Sutton and Sutton & Merton Primary Care Trust are continuing the modernisation of their services for older people with dementia. Our needs analysis projects a growing need for a range of services including specialist residential and nursing care, extra care housing and day services together with information, advice and support services for older people with dementia, their carers and families.

We therefore wish to have informal market consultation with established providers who have experience of providing and delivering high quality, person centred and innovative services for older people with dementia. The Council is planning to make available a site in the Borough to support service development but in addition is particularly interested to hear from providers who may be able to propose alternative solutions from their own resources.

The Council and the PCT have planned an information sharing session on the morning of Friday 7 December 2007 at the Civic Centre, Sutton commencing at 10.00am. Providers who wish to attend should email details including names, titles and organisation to laura.miller-clark@sutton.gov.uk
