Invitation to tender for the provision of care and support to people with a learning disability in Dudley

Dudley Council is inviting expressions of interest from companies with proven experience in providing domiciliary care services to people with a learning disability and complex needs. Organisations who registeran interest will be asked to complete a questionnaire which will be evaluated to compile a select list.

The service will provide care and support to a small number of people who are leaving a residential service and moving into their own homes. The current service is provided by the local PCT. The new provider will encourage people to develop individual lifestyles, be responsible tenants and integrate into the local community. There is likely to be some transfer of NHS staff under TUPE arrangements. The successful company will become an approved provider for Dudley and as such will be considered for future spot purchased services as required.

This tender exercise is being conducted in electronic format (e-tender). If you wish to take part please register with the DudleyCouncil e-tendering website (www.in-tendhost.co.uk/dudleymbc) and follow instructions as appropriate. If you have anyqueries please contact John Povey as detailed below.
