Last week, a Community Care and BBC News investigation revealed at least 1,700 mental health beds have been closed in the last two years. Problems accessing beds is damaging patients and staff (see 10 ways this is happening here). Below we pull out where the cuts have fallen. It makes sober reading for anyone trying to get admission to acute wards.
