HCPC re-registration opens today: don’t forget to renew and protect your title

Social workers must renew with the HCPC by the end of November or they will not be able to practise legally

From today, social workers in England must begin renewing their registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Social workers who do not re-register by 30 November will no longer be able to practise legally.

Alongside registration renewal, the HCPC will be auditing the continuing professional development profiles of a random sample of 2.5% of social workers.
