* With your team, and using any case examples, identify the end-of-life-care needs that minority ethnic elders among your service users may have and identify issues that can inform objectives for future service developments.
* Using the example of Ricardo in the article, describe how you might: (a) recognise and respond to the ways previous experiences of social exclusion and poverty in his life in Brazil may affect his care experiences in the UK; (b) work with him to raise his expectations about his care.
