Unison Scotland is calling on the Scottish executive to include
all providers of social care services in its proposed Freedom of
Information (Scotland) Bill. The draft bill proposed that only
public authorities providing services be under obligation to
provide the public with information. A Unison Scotland spokesperson
said the union was concerned that the bill did not cover the
numerous voluntary agencies involved in the provision of social
care.
