Family support groups in Scotland are to have their funding
increased by 41 per cent for next year by the Scottish executive.
The funding for 2000-01 of £733,000 will increase to over
£1 million in 2001-02. Among the beneficiaries are Family
Mediation Scotland (£711,000), Couple Counselling Scotland
(£234,203), Scottish Marriage Care (£59,880) and
Stepfamily Scotland (£30,900).
